Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders to Morgan County Speedway on May 16th (by Jeff Campbell) Come join us on May 16th at Jacksonville Illinois as the SIA makes a second attempt to invade the Morgan County Speedway. Our initial season opener, scheduled for April 4th, fell victim to mother nature. Four lucky fans will have their fuel costs reduced thanks to Jerry and Kim Glasgow. They have donated four $25 fuel cards to be given away on race night. Rich in sprint car tradition, Morgan County Speedway is one of those fast paced tracks that will have you on the edge of your seat. Hope to see you there for a night full of exciting, hold your breath from "Green to Checkered" racing! For Track info... http://www.morgancountyspeedway.com/ |

The Sprint Invaders season opener at 34 Raceway saw 32 winged sprints take to the track in search of a qualifying spot for the A-Main. One of those cars was the #23 car piloted by young gun Kevin Hetrick. Hetrick not only qualified but was the highest finishing 305, making him the first recipient of Camfab's award.
